Russia Toughens Internet Piracy Law to Meet WTO Entry Terms
On Friday, Sept. 1, new internet piracy laws took effect in Russia. The new, tougher legislation threatens internet pirates with jail terms of up to five years and is seen as part of Moscow’s drive to join the World Trade Organization.
