Four people, including a child, have been killed in a fire at a residential building in Moscow south, the Emergencies Ministry told Interfax.
An alarm call to the firefighters’ office early Sunday reported an apartment was on fire in the eights floor of a 9-storeyed block of flats in Krasny Mayak street.
Seven firefighting brigades that arrived at the site extinguished the fire twenty minutes after receiving the call, evacuating three people from the top floor.
However four dead bodies were found in the burnt apartment, one of them a child’s. Investigation is in progress.
