Hilton Hotels Corp. has announced three new development alliances that will allow the company to introduce over 55 new hotels in the Caribbean, Central America, Russia and the United Kingdom in the next five years.

Hilton is partnering with London & Regional Properties Limited in Russia. The partnership will result in 25 new properties in Russia.

Matthew Hart, president and COO of Hilton, said the alliances underscore Hilton’s strategy to sign large deals with major investors to develop hotels in key growth markets worldwide.

“We are well on our way to achieving our stated goal of at least 1,000 hotels outside of North America over the next 10 years,” Hart said in a statement.

Based in Beverly Hills, California, Hilton operates 2,800 hotels and resorts in more than 80 countries worldwide.
