A pensioner in the Russian region of Primorye blew up his neighbor’s toilet and then killed himself following an apparent quarrel between them on Monday afternoon, RIA Novosti reported March 20.

A spokesman for the local police said the pensioner dropped an explosive device down an air duct, which later exploded in his neighbor’s toilet. The neighbor was home at the time and as a result of the explosion she received head wounds and was taken to hospital.

“Investigators assume, that the man has done it after a quarrel that took place between them a day earlier,” the spokesman said. “The man later committed suicide by shooting himself in the head from a hunting rifle.”
