Footprints showed the gunman had been wearing combat type shoes. A security guard, who was near the site of the accident, heard gunshots and saw a man escaping on a bike.
He was first on the scene after hearing the first shot and some screaming for help, the further four shots rang out as he ran towards the scene, the assailant was described as young, although, no further details were given. A second witness said he saw the gunman driving away at speed in the direction of Soi Chiyapruk.
Police arrived to the site at 06:00 a.m. in the morning after they received reports on shots.
A police spokesman said he was shocked at the crime as there is no motive or theft, and is eager to bring this criminal to book, as this is very serious case, and damaging for tourism, as this is not the first time tourists have been discovered murdered on the beach.

What is most upsetting about this case, is the way these piture’s of these young lady’s is being splashed about in the media , so shamelessly ,what is the world coming to.are we all so desensitized? IT truly has tramatized me, it is extremely upsetting.
Whats funny is Cher is looking up the story and seeking the picture and then complains about it. Cher if you dont like it then why are you going around on the net trying to find the story and pic? Sure its disturbing but thats like going to a horror movie, knowing its violent and then complaining that its violent after watching it. Don’t like it? don’t look it up simple as that.
I must clarify ,that the first time I saw this image was in a photography magazine in a hugh bookstore, I only looked it up on the net because I couldn’t believe ,it was real. Just more ad’s with violence against women. How would you feel if it was your sister , daughter or friend, It is just like a snuff movie ,dosn’t mean it is morally acceptable so you advise, just do not be informed of our right’s and the media’s explotation’s. Simple ignorance is bliss. Horror movies I can deal with , this is an abomination.
