Those who appreciate films that are weird and wonderful, or just long and mostly silent, will be happy to learn that U.S. artist and filmmaker Matthew Barney is participating in the Second Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art.

Barney’s most famous work, “The Cremaster Cycle,” will be screened at the Central House of Writers starting Wednesday. On March 3, the artist will hold a Q&A session for viewers at a screening of “Drawing Restraint 9,” a more recent film that features Barney’s partner, the Icelandic singer Bjork.
