Russian juice and dairy maker Wimm Bill Dann said on Friday it had bought one of the largest milk processing plants in Irkutsk region in Siberia for an undisclosed amount.

Company spokesman Anton Saraikin said the deal to buy Molka plant was completed on Thursday. He declined to reveal its size.

Molka, or Angarsky Milk Plant, has a 50-year history and a designed capacity to process 150 tonnes of milk a day, Wimm Bill Dann said.

This is Wimm Bill Dann’s second acquisition in as many months after the purchase of Moscow-based dairy producer Ochakovo, Russia’s fourth largest dairy producer, in November.

Wimm Bill Dann, founded in 1992, owns 34 manufacturing facilities in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States as well as trade affiliates in 26 cities in Russia and the CIS.

It posted a 140 percent year-on-year rise in third-quarter profit to $32.4 million as it cut costs and grew organically.
