Russia’s Defence Companies Set for IDEX-2007 Exhibition in UAE
Russia’s leading defence companies will showcase a range of modern military technologies at an international exhibition in the United Arab Emirates in February next year, a spokesman for the state arms export monopoly said Wednesday. A Rosoboronexport delegation is currently in Abu-Dhabi as part of preparations for the International Defence Exhibition (IDEX), to be held in the country’s capital on February 18 - 22, 2007.
Last year, over 40 Russian defense companies and organizations displayed about 500 units of high-performance weaponry and military equipment, precision instruments, and ammunition for almost all armed force branches.
