Twenty Generals, Senior Officers to be Discharged From Russian Army

The Russian Defense Ministry is preparing an order to discharge some 20 generals and senior officers for using the labor of draftees for private interests, said Lieut. Gen. Viktor Buslovsky, first deputy chief of the education and moral welfare directorate at the Russian Defense Ministry, Interfax news agency reported on Wednesday.
“The ministry is using all available means to fight the use of drafted soldiers as ’slave labor.’ A new order to discharge some 20 generals and senior officers is being prepared, and it will not be the last one,” the general said at a roundtable meeting dedicated to human rights in the army on Wednesday.
