A new reinforced concrete bridge over the Argun River, the border between the two countries in northeast China was completed and put into service on Wednesday.
New bridge replaced an old wooden bridge on the same site. It spans from Heishantou of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region to Starotsurukhaytuy in Russia.

Local officials said the new bridge would create favorable conditions for advancing border trade and tourism.
