Israeli Billionaire to Invest $1 Billion in Moscow Office Project

Africa-Israel Group, owned by Israeli billionaire Lev Leviev today announced that the Moscow Municipality Public Council approved the preliminary plan for its 330,000-sq.m. multipurpose project earlier this month.
Most of the project comprises office blocks. It will be built over the railway linking the city’s Belorussky and Savyolovsky Train Stations.
The office project will be located adjacent to other projects that Africa-Israel is developing around the Belorussky Train Station, including a mall, office buildings, residences, and a five-star hotel.
These projects cover hundreds of thousands of square meters altogether and involve an aggregate investment of NIS 4 billion (about $1 billion).
Africa-Israel said the concept underlying the new project was a breakthrough in urban planning in a way that provides an original solution to the current shortage of space for modern development in large and crowded cities, such as Moscow.
