Russia has received EU assurances of support in the swift conclusion of multilateral talks on Russia’s accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO), a Russian delegation member said on Friday quoted by Interfax.

“The sides highly appreciated the talks on Russia’s WTO accession concluded between Moscow and the U.S. and expressed hope that Moscow would be able in the shortest period to conclude the multilateral stage of the talks,” he said.
“We are glad that the EU assured us that the European Commission will contribute to concluding these talks to the extent possible,” he said.
