Russian managing company Start plans to open its first home appliances and construction materials hypermarket in St. Petersburg on 1 December, at an investment of $18 million.

The outlet will cover an area of 10,000 sq.m. spread across two storeys, and is expected to have a product range of 50,000 items.

The company said it plans to open four more stores in St. Petersburg and expand to Russia’s regions.
