Five trillion rubles ($187 billion) will be spent as part of the Russian state arms program for 2007 -2015, the Interfax news agency reports.

“The state arms program for 2007 - 1015 was approved less than a month ago. The document provides for much of the financing and its implementation will require almost 5 trillion rubles,” the Deputy Defense Minister Nikolai Pankov said at a meeting with representatives of the Moscow region youth movement ‘Mestnyye.”

Strategic nuclear forces will the priority according to the state arms program, Pankov said.
